Pumpkin Patch Pics

What is it like to be a Christian?
It is like being a pumpkin.
God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you...
Then, He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.
Then, He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.

Pumpkin Patch Trip is Still On!

I talked to the owner of the patch tonight at 8:00 and the patch WILL BE OPEN tomorrow. They are expecting us. She said the fields are very muddy, so dress accordingly. You may want to bring a tarp to put under your blanket. They are supposed to be provided, but I'm going to bring my own just in case. We will leave the church at 9:00 or you can meet us at the patch around 10:00.

See you at the patch!

Pumpkin Patch???

From what I've heard about last years' trip to the pumpkin patch, it sounds like this years' trip may be just like it! I just checked the weather in Greenbriar and it is pretty much doing the same thing there as it is here. It is supposed to rain all day this week and then clear up on Friday. So...we won't get rained on, but the ground will be pretty wet. I'm going to call the patch on Thursday night and see what condition the fields are in. You can find out if the trip is still on by checking the FBC Women's Ministries page on Facebook or my page on Facebook. You can also check out our blog.
pack your rain boots...
and some extra blankets to sit on... Check back Thursday night for more info...

I will provide the meat...probably a ham.

You can see what other people are bringing by reading all of the comments. Have fun with this.

Here's what is new in the Freyaldenhoven Family. Madison can now stand in her crib. Kind of exciting, kind of scary!

About Me

My photo
My husband, Gabe, and I grew up in the same hometown, however, it was not until later on in life that he "discovered" me. We got married in 2007 and had our first child, Madison Grace, in 2009. In 2010, we had our second child, Logan Carter. Life is pretty crazy with two toddlers only 18 months apart, but we wouldn't have it any other way. I guess... ;)
